Like no, Breanne and Jamie built a solid foundation out of respect out of loyalty and mutual interests and it’s only grown. Brienne isn’t interested in tormund in the slightest or his character. You have to understand why she was so hesitant at the beginning. She had been ridiculed and belittled all her life. And she's been tricked before as well. She's known nothing but betrayal. Her trust in Ser Jaime in that moment cannot be understated. And it paid off.

The scene with Jaime who try to kill Daenerys always hit me, because for me the only thing Jaime would think is "The Mad King is back, and this time with dragon. I have to end it".

Reminder that D&D's The Bells, the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, is unironically a masterpiece. It is the perfect somber Shakesperean tragedy. It can be argued it's the best episode they've ever made. From the distressing beauty in all the fire and brimstone carnage, the oddly serene sights and sounds of a city in its death throws, the oscar level passion in the acting of jaime & tyrion: "you were the only one who didn't treat me like a monster" as two drowing men desperately try to hold on to each other knowing it's their last moments, the most accurate psychological portrayal of the stakes of civil war which means more than any mindless spectacle of the hero chopping off a mountain of heads to climb the iron throne, jaime doing the actual most redemptive thing he could do & dying protecting his queen as the tragic hero he was always meant to be, as olenna has said "you love her. You really do love her. You poor full, she'll be the end of you.", whaat a time to do the eternal "nothing else matters only us" callback...the only constant of this transient series, the heart-rending way they flip the script on valonqar, Euron staying true to being the detached manaical villain till the end, the cinematography of the hound & the mountain's last stand in the towering inferno of the red keep with the dragon flying overhead & into the fire as was destined, avoiding a cringe "I know you would come" dany cersei villain lair confrontation, avoiding lowest common denominator dragonfood comeuppance for cersei, avoiding any arya facemask revenge kill disney cringe, that visual of arya at the end with palerider surrounded by an eerie silence only punctured by the low funeral music...all of it was brilliant. The treachery and the heartbreak. It's demoralizing, it's poignant, it's pensive, it's nihilistic, it's bittersweet it drains the energy out of you and it's absolutely fitting way to wrap up this greek tragedy. You wanted an utopia so badly you forgot to see the dystopia staring back at you. If nothing else it capture the sorrows of a world after the deluge really well. I would not have expected the average person to have the emotional intelligence to fully appreciate how good The Bells was, but the level of bad-faith misplaced vitriol the r/freefolk types of the GoT subreddits showered on this episode and took the pre-eminent role in shaping its perception is straight up criminal. Yeah the Dany turn could've been done differently, but let's be real. What actually made most of them angry wasn't the crudeness of the turn, it was the "I rooted for her so long for this? It was the level of unexpected brutality unleashed by the heroes(TM) in conquering a city. It was the psychology of war at its purest form. We've seen pictures of liberated Dresden or Mosul and it's not all that different. It takes a lot out of you emotionally. It only speaks to the level of investment people had to this show for them to be that bothered. If something happening in a TV show can make people this angry, then its existence is justified.

It was always going to be Arya.... as far back as when the red woman encountered her when they seized Gendry. The red woman was startled by what she saw in Arya's eyes.... she knew Arya would be the one, the hound, Braavos,the Valyarain, dagger Lord Beric.... Bran luring the night King to the tree, all leading up and part of Arya's elimination of the entire white walker army. Anyone who thinks the ending should have been different are fooling themselves, RR Martin Green lighted it to be Arya. Ned Starks little warrior daughter..... he would have been so proud.

The most fake ass reaction by far!

A lot of people totally misread this scene..... they seem to think that Ayra was in danger of being executed by Sansa! Lol! That was never going to happen.... Sansa knew what she had to do when Arya flipped that digger into her hand in their scene prior to this one.... she needed time to think about what had to do but killing wasn't in her nature ....not even enemies. But when she summoned Arya to the hall she knew what she was about to do.... and so did Arya and Bran. The last of the Starks joining forces to protect the family. Only the three Starks knew what was going to happen.... no one else had a clue. Arya put on a bit of an act by glancing around at the soldiers at each side and the door closing behind her. All an act for Littlefinger who was full sure that Sansa was going to dispatch her sister.... Arya was too smart for that ..... do you really think that if she was in danger she would have walked into that hall with two soldiers behind her? She would have gutted the two of them and more while making her escape.... no , she knew what her sister was going to do the moment the soldiers went for her. Sansa's own words were telling us that she had been put straight by her sister about Littlefinger and was now about to do what she had to to protect the family...... " I'm a slow learner.... it's true, but I learn". The last of the Starks were sending out a stern message to everyone in that hall and beyond. They were back... united and in charge. I imagine there were a good number of people in that hall who got a bit of a cold sweat went they saw Arya take down Littlefinger like she did.... they would have had a healthy respect for her from then forward.

I always took these scenes as them making it look like they were turning against each other to plant a trap for little finger, I don't think Arya and Sansa are stupid enough to let baelesh win not after Sansa knowing he sold her to Ramsey I think after that Sansa started learning what a snake he was and I think bran also helped Sansa see, I think all this was then planting a trap to end baelesh

I love this scene so much. Their love scene was so in character. He doesn't make love to Cersei like he does to Brienne. That says everything. He is nervous, awkward, but once Jaime moves in to kiss Brienne, it’s all over. The desperation, the longing, and desire that’s always been there is finally able to come to fruition. It was beautiful. Something that beautiful cannot be for nothing. it makes me so happy. He loves her that's for sure no matters what writters says.

Arya is quite possibly the most skilled fighter on the show....Lyanna Mormont is EASILY the greatest warrior on the show.... the woman with the glasses watching the show... her reactions are what humanity should be about: unbridled love and respect for someone other than yourself. I know nothing about her but I can tell just by watching her she's going to be a wonderful wife and a fantastic mother, if she isn't already.

I loved Lyannas character, and i wish other females would have that same trait.
